Website conventions - Escape Room

The second website I am analysing is for escape room, a movie from the horror genre. Despite belonging to a different genre to Aquaman, the homepage shares many of the same conventions.

• Menu/navigation bar featuring links to trailer, a synopsis, and a game that allows you the opportunity to win money.
• The website features links to the trailer.
• Social media links are provided in the top corner to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• There is a review at the top reading "Scary AF".
• The title of the film is the largest text on the screen.
• There is a release date reading "only in theatres thursday.
• Buttons are provided to give the audience the opportunity to buy tickets.
• There is a dominant central image that indicates genre.
• There are links to the terms and conditions at the bottom of the webpage.
