Website conventions - Stan and Ollie

The final website I'm going to analyse is from the biopic 'Stand and Ollie'. Despite belonging to a different genre from the horror and superhero films I have previously analysed, it contains the same conventions of movie websites.

• Menu/navigation bar at the top of the homepage featuring links to videos, a synopsis of the movie, and a button that allows fans to share the website.
• Social media links to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at the bottom of the screen are provided.
• Images from the films that run on a loop as the background to the homepage.
• The name of the movie is the largest text on the page.
• The names of the actors are displayed.
• There is a release date reading "in cinemas January 11"
• Buttons that enable audiences to buy tickets.
• Production company logos are provided.
• Links to terms and conditions towards the bottom of the homepage.
