Other ways my film will be marketed
Although my film is not actually being produced, if it were a legitimate film, there would be various other methods and processes I would need to complete. Here is a compilation of other lengths I would need to go through.
There would be additional trailers, although I am only creating two TV spots, a legitimate film would not only have up to four to five TV spots, but numerous theatrical trailers as well. Some movies will even release a trailer after the film has been published including reviews on the trailer , showing wide critical acclaim. For example, for the movie 'Us', there were numerous different trailers:
Theatrical trailer
TV spot
TV spot 2
TV spot 3
TV spot 4
TV spot 5
I have made a single poster for the film I have created, however, an actual film would create multiple different posters. For example, the film 'Us' has multiple different posters:
There would most probably be some form of merchandise connected with the film, this can range from a soundtrack to action figures. This is a way of creating synergy, getting people to purchase merchandise increasing revenue. Here is the soundtrack used on 'Us':
On an official film a press-pack would be put together for all the numerous media outlets, these would consist of a compilation of pictures of all the different characters that the film company would prefer new sources using. The images within a press-pack tend to entice viewers to come see the film.
Although the premier hasn't occurred for 'Us' as of yet, before the movie comes out there would be a premier and chat show interviews which would all grab the attention of the attention.
